Operations Assistant

As a business, they ensure that their clients receive the very best advice and customer service on a wide range of insurance products- acting for over 8,000 corporate, commercial, and personal clients throughout the UK. They are now looking for an experienced Office Assistant to join them. You will be working in the Operations department which covers a variety of functions including; Employee Training, IT, HR and general administration. For this position, you should be able to use your organisational skills to manage your office space and your time, as you will collaborate with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ultimately, you should be able to support their Director of Operations, managers and ensure our day-to-day office operations run smoothly.

You will be required to support senior operational managers and executives with daily clerical tasks, answer phone calls, schedule appointments and update calendar, compose and type regular correspondence, develop and maintain a filing system, help & Support with IT issues, support in the Company’s Training and Competence programme. You will also Liaise with external suppliers, collate data and effectively process new clients information

This role will be heavy on data input so attention to detail and knowledge of Microsoft Excel is key for you to be considered! 

You will also need to be able to keep confidential on all operations, have an in-depth understanding of office management and daily operations, a good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office and in particular Excel as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong organisational and time-management skills and have achieved A- C GCSEs in English & Maths

Salary on offer is £23-£24,000
